Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assist them in daily activities, promote independence, and foster a supportive environment that respects their rights and dignity.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Provide patient monitoring to ensure the health and safety of individuals under your care.
Support individuals with disabilities in social interactions and community engagement.
Implement care plans tailored to each client's unique needs, including those requiring dementia and memory care.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold resident rights at all times.
Document client progress and any changes in behavior or health status accurately.
Engage in heavy lifting as necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills
Experience working with people with disabilities is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and caregiving best practices.
Familiarity with dementia care strategies and memory care approaches is a plus.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding client information.
Ability to advocate for resident rights while providing compassionate support.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the role.

You can also collect and store information from your site visitors using input elements like custom forms and fields.
Be sure to click Sync after making changes in a collection, so visitors can see your newest content on your live site. Preview your site to check that all your elements are displaying content from the right collection fields.
